The Howard Stern Show's Artie Lange

If Howard Stern is the self-proclaimed
"King of All Media" then his co-stars certainly qualify as the court jesters. Artie Lange was known for his work on "Mad TV" when he joined "The Howard Stern Show" for it's radio broadcasts and popular E! channel television show in 2001. Stern's fans immeadiately fell in love with Artie and his humor, with Artie projecting a care-free, "party all the time" lifestyle, which was endearing to the loyal Stern audience.

My sister met up with Artie before an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live during the summer of 2009. He gladly signed two photographs for her, personalizing each nicely. Artie's health has always been a concern to Stern and fans of the show, as Lange has battled alcohol and substance abuse throughout his career. Lange has been on hiatus from "The Howard Stern Show" since December 12, 2009 which eventually was revealed due to the fact that Lange had attempted to commit suicide. Lange has been recovering the past few months, both mentally and physically from multiple self-inflicted abdomen knife wounds. Howard Stern has expressed that Artie will be welcomed back to the show after his recovery. Artie, we miss you and wish you the best...get well soon!
